Painted White To Blind The Others
The trees have dropped their draping leaves,
The clouds have dropped their snow.
The roads have winded loops into our path and misled us where to go.
Enough empty promises have bored into our skulls,
Enough white lies to was away our sins.
Enough hearts have been broken here to help me up and begin.
Don't apologize!
I'm the one who painted white, painted clean all of our lies.
Your ears have heard my fallen whispers,
Your eyes have cried my tears,
Your hands have felt the aging touch of mine along these years.

With these tired hands
Buried under shifting sands
My sky sifts through inverted catacombs
Draining into an ever turning hourglass
I can no longer seem to control

I must surpass...
I must suppress my inner hell
I must undo whatever my inner Cassandra foretells
But I will fight

My destiny is now ever clear
I will work this machine till I have nowhere left to...

While my heart lies an open book
The contents of which I once forsook
My earth rises through inverted funnel clouds
Spiraling through an eve
